A varied program of events for the Kavli Prize week in early September is beginning to shape up. New additions to the program will be added as they are confirmed. The Kavli Prize Award Ceremony will take place on September 7, at Oslo Concert Hall. But the Kavli Prize celebrations in Norway will start already the previous day with a series of public lectures and symposia and continue througout the week with events both in Oslo, Trondheim and Tromsø
The Kavli Prize is proud to present the events for The Kavli Prize week 2010. The program will be updated regulary, and all of the Kavli symposium speakers have now been confirmed.
The lectures in Astrophysics, Nanoscience and Neuroscience will take place on Monday 6. September, and will be delivered by leading scientists in the three different fields.
Bill Bryson will be giving two lectures in Oslo based on his award winning book "A Short History of Nearly Everything".
